Congratulations to all who took part in a well-appreciated performance of Handel’s Messiah last night.
The choir were ably assisted by four excellent soloists and a super orchestra. It was good to see so many people in the audience and they were not disappointed - it was a very well-performed rendition of a classical favourite. For those who were unable to attend – you missed a treat!
Thanks must go to Deborah for all the hours spent encouraging the choir and to David for his very able accompaniment.

BAE System Relocation Events

On November 12th and 14th we were represented by members of the choir at two BAE
Systems Relocation Events. These are held to inform new recruits to the company about the
attractions and activities available in this area. Several people took a real interest in what the
Ulverston Choral Society has to offer, particularly in our forthcoming Messiah concert. Some
who have not yet relocated to the Furness area may join the choir once they have settled into
the area. Well done our volunteers!
Taster Evening
